Structural model improvements
The known pain of BIM links is the import of asymmetric cross-sections. It used to happen that some members had a different profile rotation in Checkbot than in the original global structural model. This import issue was fixed in version 22.1, and the correct profile assignment is provided.
Thanks to new IOM parameters, the correct cross-section assignment is provided by the new BIM links. If for any reason, the user still wants to change to rotation or orientation of the member profiles, it is possible to edit these parameters in the property chart directly in the Checkbot app.
Enhancements in 22.1:
- Mirror support for all asymmetric cross-sections
- Mirror can be specified for members, as well as cross-sections
- Negative plate is now possible to define and use in the same fashion as a negative volume
IOM improvements:
- All cross-sections are exported correctly
- All cuts and cut-outs are exported correctly
- Code setup can be changed using IOM
- Boltgrid properties extended (shear plane in thread, shear force transfer type)
