Capacity design analysis to deal with seismic checks

Capacity design analysis provides a code-check to treat the effects of seismicity and seismic loads obtained from the spectral analysis. The code-check delivers results about the sufficient ductility of a joint, that is whether the position of a plastic hinge occurs where expected (e.g. in the beam), and calculates capacity of the connection to prove e.g. the column + connection is stronger than the beam. The overstrength factor and strain-hardening factor are incorporated into the calculation.
