Reinforce the web of a beam with doubler plates

When a member's web is too weak to bear the loading, sometimes the only solution is to reinforce it by adding the doubler plates. But by adding doublers on a member makes it longer, which is mostly unwanted. Creating a custom cross-section in the general cross-section editor transforms the doubler plates into a part of the member, which solves the problem of its lengthening.
