IDEA StatiCa Parametric Design Training

Introduction

With the IDEA StatiCa Parametric Design training you will learn more about the following topics: 

• Parametric templates in Connection application
• IDEA plugin for Rhino/Grasshopper
• Design APIs and IOM (IDEA Open Model)
• BIM links & Checkbot

Who is the training for? 

The training is for engineers who already have some experience with IDEA StatiCa and would like to learn more about the possibilities with parametric design.

Dates and participants

Two dates have been scheduled for a session in Belgium and the Netherlands. 

• October 24, 2024 - Mechelen, Belgium
• October 29, 2024 - Utrecht, The Netherlands

The training lasts from 10:00 to 17:00, lunch is provided for all participants. 

Requirements

• The training will mainly focus on parametric design of steel structures.
• During the training we will work with the latest version of IDEA StatiCa. Downloads | IDEA StatiCa
• It is recommended that participants have Rhino Grasshopper installed and have a valid license, as this software will also be used during the training.
• The training is provided in English.
