Export beam geometry to IDEA StatiCa Detail

When exporting the geometry of a beam to IDEA Statica Detail, there is an option to select for exporting just a part of the beam or the whole beam. The selection depends on the user and the discontinuity area. 

If you want to export a beam with many openings, the better option seems to be select the whole beam. If the detail has a dapped end and opening close to the support you can use just this part of the beam. Obviously, the analysis of the selection part of the beam is quicker.
