IDEA StatiCa Excellence Awards 2023 – The Clock Is Ticking!
February 28, 2023 is an important date in the calendar of IDEA StatiCa users like you because it marks the last date you can submit your projects for consideration for one of the prizes up for grabs in the concrete and steel categories. But, as the saying goes, you’ve got to be in it to win it! Let’s take a look at what you stand to win by having your project recognized.
I Want an IDEA StatiCa Excellence Award
It’s true that no shelf is truly complete without a hard-earned and well-deserved award, but aside from this attractive addition to the trophy cabinet, what other benefits does it bring? Being a winner in the IDEA StatiCa Excellence Awards 2023 means having your work recognized professionally within the community in which you thrive, that of fellow structural engineers.
The award itself takes the form of a stunning crystal trophy and a $500 gift voucher for the professional categories or a $200 gift voucher for the student prize. We will announce the winners of IDEA StatiCa Excellence Awards 2023 on Global User Day on May 4, 2023, but like I said, you need to get those projects submitted by February 28, 2023 to help secure your place among the winners.
Win Yourself for Some Project Love
The steel and concrete categories are divided into two categories: small-scale projects and large-scale projects.
A small scale project means a low-rise building, commercial, residential, retail, infrastructure, industrial and recreational, or any other small-scale structure that fits into 20x20x20 m.
The second category, a large-scale project, involves high-rise buildings, commercial, residential, retail, infrastructure, industrial and recreational, or any other large-scale structure, that is bigger than 20x20x20 m.
